Our sales mission is two-fold: to build strong sales teams through aggressive national and local recruitment avenues, and to sustain and grow our teams through on-going training, and coaching. By providing our sales professionals with training and mentoring, our teams are then equipped to develop relationships that are long standing and proactive.
Consistency in reporting is required by all property teams. We measure not only their individual production goals, but group booking pace, source of business, lost business and booking production. Completion of our standard weekly report by each sales person gives us an opportunity to appropriately monitor achievements and challenges and to proactively work on resistance “real time”. Ensuring that each sales person is focused on market share and working with the teams to further develop good business relationships with clients, is critical to the success of the department.
Our marketing mission includes careful planning, through the development of strategic marketing and media plans, with the proper mix of direct sales, third party sales, and advertising/public relations/sponsorship opportunities. Achievable action plans and goals, as well as package and promotional calendars focusing on seasonal/local events are developed and monitored for each team.
Development of programs, advertising and collateral will be done in conjunction with brand initiatives, and/or independent vehicles, which follow the approved, individual hotel’s sales and marketing plan strategies.
By Assisting our property sales leaders in evaluating all marketing opportunities, they can make fiscally responsible decisions for their hotel and local geographic areas that focus on one goal… driving revenue to our hotels.
